Marinette van der Graaf


In June 1995 Marinette van der Graaf joined the Department of Radiology of the Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Centre and she started to study human metabolism by in vivo Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy (MRS). She contributed to projects on prostate cancer, brain tumours, diabetes and hepatic steatosis. In addition, she worked on the implementation of brain MRS as a standard clinical tool to study metabolic defects. Since September 2008 she combines her work at the Dept of Radiology with a part-time position at the Clinical Physics Laboratory of the Dept of Pediatrics and in January 2011 she started her training to become a Medical Physicist.
