Janna Ruisch

Janna Ruisch finished her Technical Medicine master’s degree in ‘Medical Sensing and Stimulation’ in 2020 at the University of Twente. During her master thesis at the division of Cardiology at the UMC Utrecht, she focused on ‘Disease-specific ECG lead positioning for early diagnosis of arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy’. After that, her research interest switched to medical ultrasound. Since May 2021, she is working on the Rijnstate-Radboud Junior Researcher project at the Medical Ultrasound Imaging Center (MUSIC) of the Radboudumc in combination with the division of vascular surgery at Rijnstate. As PhD candidate, she will focus on ‘Personalized risk assessment of carotid artery stenosis by ultrafast ultrasound flow imaging’.
