Joosje de Bakker

 Joosje studied Technical Medicine at the University of Twente. She obtained her master’s degree (with distinction) in ‘Medical Imaging and Intervention’ in 2020. She carried out her master’s thesis at the Medical Ultrasound Imaging Centre in combination with the division of Neonatology at the Radboudumc on ‘Visualization of 2D blood velocity patterns in the neonatal heart using ultrafast ultrasound’. Enthusiastic about her thesis’ topic, she continued her work on ultrafast ultrasound blood velocity vector imaging, now focused on the carotid artery, at the Medical Ultrasound Imaging Centre as a PhD student.
