On March 20, prof. Richard Lopata, alumnus of MUSIC, gave his inaugural lecture with the title “Good Vibrations: Innovating with Sound and Light to support the healthcare system under pressure”.
As the title already refers to songs of his favourite bands, his lecture was full of music and was an excellent continuation of the performance he gave during his PhD defence at the Radboud University.
Before the inaugural lecture, the symposium : Sound Solutions, Advancing Medical Imaging in Modern Healthcare was held with dr. Anne Saris as one of the speakers. She addressed her work on ultrasound flow imaging for improving decision making in stroke patients.
