Lianne Straetemans

Lianne Straetemans is a PhD candidate at the Medical Imaging department at the Radboud UMC. She obtained a bachelor's degree in Technical Medicine and a master's degree in Biomedical Engineering in 'Imaging & In Vitro Diagnostics' at the University of Twente. 

From 2022 to 2024, she worked as an R&D scientist at Quirem Medical B.V. and in July 2024, she joined the Medical Ultrasound Imaging Centre (MUSIC) to work on AI-based handheld ultrasound for improved diagnosis of knee osteoarthritis, under the supervision of Chris de Korte and Thomas van den Heuvel.
